Accommodation at Xaxaba Camp

There are a maximum of 6 Meru-style tents individually set-up in a prime location overlooking the world-renown Chief's Island. Each of the tents sleeps 2 people, which means the camp can accommodate 12 people in total. This is the perfect place for an intimate crowd that favours an authentic "glamping" experience where the focus is on game viewing, activities and staying in a remote location.  Xaxaba Camp is a rustic camp, but offers all the basics and comforts from home. You will sleep on raised beds and enjoy exhilarating outdoor bucket showers, while all your other basic needs will be tended to. Xababa Island is run by the community, and the tented camp will be in one of 3 locations on the island. The team will set-up everything up prior to your arrival, making this a completely non-participatory camping experience.
